I liked the new “stand up till the opponent scores” tradition and was pleasantly surprised that the crowd complied.

The old guys behind me cheered when Lehigh finally scored though. :joy::joy::joy:

There were moments of brilliance. It looked like Cougar basketball at times. Plenty to improve upon, and that’s exciting.

A very well thought out, articulated post….

This team is going to lose some games early on……but the closer we get to March the scarier this team gets.

Would be great to see Eman continue driving, though seeing Kingston drive tonight, he may be the closest to a Rob Gray we have had in a while.

Agreed. His takes were good. I would add that Tugs’ confidence on offense might need to be tamped down a bit. He made some really clumsy mistakes when the offense was ran through him. Overall, the guys need to take a deep breath on offense and play more composed.

He was absolutely terrible, and towards the end of the game CKS was letting him know it too

Agreed. Seems like an easy way to keep up the crowd energy at the beginning of games.

Bryce will redshirt and McFarland won’t be ready until early January at the earliest. Lath was a DNP-CD. We never really had a comfortable lead to put Ced in the game especially with the way he shoots free throws. Foul him and it’s basically a turnover.

We are due for some REVENGE!!!

Is it just me, or did Milos’ little “floater” shot off drives seem just a bit off last night?

I’m guessing he’ll have games where it nearly always sinks, just not in this game.

They were very nice folks, parents and siblings of two of the players…

I am thinking we miss Roberts around the basket more than we ever believed we would…

Ha - I somehow didn’t notice how bright it was till towards the end of the game.

You really saw it on defense and just toughness under the basket. Our guys looked soft under the basket a lot of times last night.

Definitely lost a ton of experience there.

One thing that impressed me was McCarty’s toughness along with Flemings. Of course we all already knew about Sharp.
I was not impressed with the way Tugler played last night. He has to get back to being that dawg near the basket…two rebounds is not going to cut it…

I was wondering if it was just my seats. I’ll have to wear a hat if they don’t make some adjustments - those new lights blasting the crowd are ridiculous. :sunglasses:

Jacob MacFarland has played as many minutes of CBB as I have. Expecting him to return from serious surgery and contribute to a team with national title aspirations is unfair to him. I don’t think he’s being rushed, and I don’t think they expect him to return and contribute this season. That’s why Sakho was brought in.

You could tell Jojo missed a lot of conditioning time this summer. He’s still a dawg, but doesn’t look like he’s completely back in shape yet. He’ll get there.
