STRONG TEXT, BEYOTCHES.
Apparently, many of the posters here are unaware how difficult it is to win college basketball games on the road. This is a great win in a very hostile environment.
So you know what a pretty good sign that the team is good? When LJ and Sharp can barely buy a bucket, Roberts and Francis step up and absolutely carry the load.
I never gamble with my heart. UCF against the spread would have been a decent bet.
Agree 100%. Thatās why I root for the home teams. Road wins are like gold.
āstrong textā is the new Coog rallying cry.
Uzan has really come on the last few weeks. One thing thatās not mentioned is we never have issues with presses anymore (an issue at times with Shead).
On the flip side, heās still a little too unselfish. If we intend to make a run in March, heāll need to learn to look for his shot more often to keep defenses honest. But heās made significant strides adapting to our program in just a few months.
I cant believe we looked so bad, weāre horrible, prolly wonāt go dancing. Fire CKS, heās turrrible! What an ugly win on the road⦠Thank You Sir, Iāll Gladly Take Another! And another and another⦠EATEMUPCOOGS!
Uzan turning the corner along with Roberts progression has really helped fuel our 10 game winning streak.
If Creyer and Sharp have good games itās very hard for us to be beat.
Coogs at the top of Big 12!! Iowa st lost
Yep tough playing at West Virginia aināt no walk in the park.
We have some really tough games coming up
at home and on the road. Letās gooooo!
HOUSTON STRONG. TEXT
I know. Heās the only player itās ever happened to.
But but but Kansas won by 50 and we won by only 1, so Kansas is way better and stuff. Weāre frauds.
Any win is glorious.

I finally took the pain of paying through my noseā¦
And particularly for LJā¦when his shots are not falling, his contributions for that game tend to be a big dropoff since they arent really rooted anywhere else (rebounding, defense, etc). So itās especially noticeable with him.
Ridiculous comment. His defense has been stellar all season
I didnāt mean to indicate his defense is bad at all. What i meant is that his contributions are way more weighted to his assasin role as a shooter (compared to Sharp for instance that gets to the hoop, draws fouls and rebounds in a more noticeable clip).
I was defending LJā¦as to why some may think his off day seems worse.
He is THAT good at his primary role as a shooter.
LJās defense is almost flawless, regardless of whether heās scoring in a particular game.
He had trouble getting open looks today, but they donāt win that game without him. He had more rebounds than Tugler.
