Game 17: #10 Houston @ UCF (W 69-68)

See above

Teams with longer athletic backcourts are going to give LJ problems. On the other hand, he played a big hand in holding UCF’s backcourt in check

I used to be a little critical of Cryer, not being the “take over the game” type, but I think Cryer plays to his strengths and has the potential to pop a game wide open. I have said this in other posts, but I like Wilson’s aggressive mindset on offense, Not that Wilson should be starting, but he brings an energy to the game with his offense and defense. And Wilson has hops.

After watching UCF play a couple of games, that huge loss to Kansas AT HOME makes even less sense. I mean, I can look at the stats and see why it happened, but it’s hard to imagine that being the same team that we just played.

If you watch closely in all our close games, LJ performs like James Harden in the clutch. Many people didn’t catch on to James being unclutch until it was too late. LJ does not do well in clutch situations. It looks like a normal mishaps but never transitions from him not coming through.

I like the shoutout to Wilson. His mid range game has become legit and his rebounding was huge.

Goodman is a diick.

He’s been tight with Indiana for years even tho he went to Arizona. Disliked by many for playing favorites with coaches that suck up to him.

Needless to say, if we “thought” we had a target on our back, we have made a huge target for all teams to come at us with their best. Hopefully we respond. On the other hand, there is a certain swagger I’m getting as I head to the office and I have a big OSU boss and lots of Arkansas fans. I’m proudly wearing my COOG gear.

They are idiots with coastal bias. They eat crow with Houston every year

Look at all the schools in the top 10 that lost to shiiit teams or some decent unranked teams. We didn’t lose!!! F yeah!

I don’t get bogged down in point differentials. Great is the team that adjusts to the ebb and flow of the game and wins. Every game is a different story. Different hero’s and villains. I don’t think the goal is to have overwhelming stats. I think the goal is to make your stats reflect a good ending.

Fracncis has been noticably trending upwards for about 3 games now.

Didn’t realize it until @monceaux mentioned it. Javier. 6/6 from the line. Wow. I’ve said all year he looks more comfortable at the line, glad to see it pay off BIG time.

I rewatched the end of the game and we have to get terrance back into it
He hasn’t been the same the last few games. And his body language at the end of this game was really bad. after missing the 1 and 1 fts that almost cost us the game (and then scored on), he didn’t seem upset, just disassociated, i would have preferred him angery, like it mattered tbh, but the bigger issue to me is to watch the bench on the game winning shot, with 1 shot to win the game everyone else was at the edge of their seat, terrace was just their with his hands on his chin like it wasnt a big deal
image

and when he made it, everyone jumped up screaming, though Terrance got up and started clapping, it was low energy
especially since it cleared his mistake, Terrance isn’t a low energy guy

let me be clear; im reading too much into it
im not making a big deal out of it
maybe thats his way of beating himself up
 who knows
but we need Terrance fully loaded if we have any hopes of winning it all

He was cooking going into conference play. But besides BYU has not been getting shot attempts

Kinda the Damian Dunn, quick hook, that ive seen recently

At K State 17 minutes
Today only 10 minutes
hes gotta get back to playing 25 minutes per game. We need him scoring off the bench
