the defense really improved becuase mccarty and harwell and been firmly inserted into the rotation as 3s, and sahko is back (weve played bigger)-- and improved rotations
but offensively
- i dont think harwellās 3pt shot is fixable this seasonā¦ would love for him to establish other types of offenseā¦post up, drives idkā¦giving him 18 shots to only make 5 isnt sustainable at 3pt line . it will improve just not sure this season
- on the reverse, ive seen mccarty hit 15 3s in a row MULTIPLE times in drillsā¦ him being 20% from 3 just doesnāt make sense ā¦his shot is fixable this season ā¦ but adjustments need to be made

Last years blue jerseys looked like old Houston Police cars. These were much better. At times, I couldnāt tell they were blue on TV.
If this was coaches call, he made a good one.

Back from the game and glad we won big ā thanks to our defense and rebounding. I swear I thought we were from the masonās union after laying so many bricks in the first half. Thankfully we picked it up in the 2nd half.
I really think Flemings needs to focus on not fouling so much early in the game. He had 10 points and 7 assists. Imagine what his stat line would be in 30+ minutes. We didnāt need him so much against WVU or BU, but we need him full time against TT, AZ, KU, ISU, etc. Really against the whole gamut of the B12.
Every game I respect and admire Walker more and more. He could have transferred a few years ago and gotten a lot of PT elsewhere, probably even starting. But he stayed and gives an all out effort in the limited minutes he gets to play. He sets an example for the young guys, he is the poster boy for our culture.
I was happy to see Harwell get 7 points, but I wish he would start hitting more 3s, 1 of 6 from the arc isnāt good enough. I am waiting for him to hit his full stride because I think he can be really good. Same for McCarty.
Cenac is really smooth and is a rebounding machine. I love to watch him play.
All in all a good win and a chance for the youngāuns to get some valuable PT.

Eh Iām pretty sure we were in the 17 to 19 range prior to Tech but I could be wrongā¦
