This game does concern me. Kansas will be looking to make a statement. Time for our QB and offense to step up!

I think we’ll have a decent crowd. People are more than ready to see a home game. It’s been a while.

BTW, we have a good team and Kansas has a good team. Heck, it’s worth the price of admission just to see #0 and #1 play.

Watched some tape. Kansas’ offense is all about fakes and misdirection. I see what CDH is saying now comparing them to Navy. Similar to Navy in the AAC, eventually these gimics will run out.

This game is all about Belk coaching the defense. Can we get our guys to stay home, play assignment football, don’t try to be a hero, do your freaking job. Basically the polar opposite of what happened on 4th and 20 vs Tech. This game can get ugly either way based on the answer to that question.

I agree. Those type of offenses challenge your discipline as a defense. Something we haven’t showed the first two games.

Dan, the fakes and misdirections are what I miss the most about our offense. When you don’t have top tier talent, that type of offense can level the playing field.

I remember playing UCLA at Robertson when we had Hayes, Beall, and Sims in the backfield. They had several studs on the d-line but we ran all over them using creative two-back sets with misdirections and tempo.

I remember in 2011 when Georgia Southern was still FCS at the time and played Alabama who only gave up 9 touchdowns that entire SEASON by that point.

Because of their triple option and misdirection, they ran for over 300 yards and Saban couldnt pull the starters.

He was going to attend but then we lost to Tech. Oh also thr game is at 3 and the Astros play at 6.
