I’ll be there too. Three others coming as well. Looking forward to winning (:+1::crossed_fingers::grimacing:) and exploring Annapolis.

I don’t think our fans just want to do an up-tempo offense. I think people just want to win. And some think that’s the answer. I’m not particularly enamored with up-tempo all the time. But to say our fans “just want to do it” for the sake of doing it is intellectually dishonest. Our fans want us to be awesome. And some think that’s the way.

Stubborn as hell lol

Based on his ability to stop the hurry up? Or based on draw, draw, pass punting as a more effective offense?

Stubborn.

On another note, I saw we have 15 scholarship players out.

Are these injuries related to lack of conditioning? I know some for sure are not but seems like we have more injuries than normal

Rib injury, broken/busted hand, knee - no, not conditioning.

We do have more than normal, but it’s a case of bad luck.

The number of new players in the rotation is another thing that has slowed our offensive pace.

and why would our HC TELEGRAPH what we are about to do.
Friends, live sports is not a video game.

Don’t have to be up tempo as long as the play calling is good. Issue all year has been play calling.
Either way based on what he said doesn’t look like play calling will change. Hopefully he is keeping it a secret but I doubt it.
He is too stubborn and it will end up costing him.
Hopefully we beat Navy. If not, Dana will make them to be Georgia.

Play-calling changed in the last game, where they focused more on passing (and distributing, I assume). So, do you want it to change from that game?

This is where the up tempo ask came from. We did better towards the end with how the offense was ran.
Dana saying he is gonna keep the clock management offense with fresh defense excludes what you saw last game.
How did you feel about the offense prior to Memphis? Wanna keep running that?

I can’t tell what you’re complaining about. It seems like you’re just recycling the “we need to change the play-calling” whine without acknowledging that we already did.

The question he was asked was pointed more towards whether he would look to run “hurry-up” more often since it worked at the end of the game. We don’t have the horses on either side of the ball to run up-tempo the whole game, even if he wanted to do that, which he doesn’t.

I thought the play mix and execution at Memphis was much improved and would be good enough to win the next game. That’s what matters.

Gee Dana, UH’s “Sloth Offense” got you to 3-3.

Easy to defend until the last two minutes of a half I guess smh

Right now the playbook looks like it would fit on a bar napkin and is as predictable as taxes. IMHO, Tune looks more comfortable when the offense is moving faster and he’s hitting shorter routes. The “Sloth Offense” has UH in third and long so many times it is hard to overcome that adversity on a regular basis. What is the difference of a faster pace going three and out and the “Sloth Offense” going three and out in less than 2 minutes?
