The false starts and holds gets us off schedule so much this offense isn’t good enough to overcome that issue,.
That set of problems is about COACHING.
Good for you supporting Dana. Nothing wrong with that. Let’s not forget the first 3 quarters.
The playcalling was noticeable different from the start.
I support the coach because he’s the guy leading the team. That’s it.
All the whining about play-calling and the way he answers questions is kind of the opposite of supporting the program, but to each his own.
As of now we are favored by 3.
The Ponies literally ignored the Navy WR’s and wound up giving away 2 fourth quarter TD’s to make it a close finish of only 6 points difference.
Our WR’s look to be Dell, Carter, Brown, and Guidry. These are good players and probably are faster than the Navy DB’s. We can score.
I feel confident. Would lay the 3 points.
I think it boils down to stopping the option. If we let them have their classic 6-9 minute drives, too many three and outs by Tune and Co. will doom us. I think you’re right though, we can score on them.
Hasn’t the current sloth offense been too easy to defend?
Dana will have to get off to a fast start this game. Hopefully an extra week helps us with prep. We’re a 3 point favorite but 90% of the bets are on us covering the spread.
Off tackle right, off tackle left-kind of like trying to make it out of town on I-10 at 5:00 pm
Ironically the only game we’ve gotten off to a fast start was the Kansas game but yah we don’t want to get down multiple scores to a team like Navy that can eat clock. In our five other games we’ve only scored one TD in the 1st quarter. We haven’t had a halftime lead once this season. That’s got to change if we’re going to turn this season around.
Houston CANNOT afford to get into third and long or go 3 and out. If UH lets Knavy have to ball they could keep it for a month. UH needs to get a win but Knavy needs one more.
Ill be watching until 3PM when WVU at Texas Tech, kicks off. Go Coogs, beat Navy!
Nobody cares about that. Astros starts at 4.
I have very little confidence in our defense. I can see us being very confused with misdirection plays to go along with our poor tackling
Hope I’m wrong. Go Coogs
Mordecai was leaving the Navy dbs in the dust like he was Lamar Jackson. We may play poorly but can’t see them keeping us from scoring at least 1 point more.
If the WVU defensive secondary doesnt play better on Saturday then i might turn to the Astros game…and i HATE BASEBALL.
I saw that play and unfortunately thought of Tune pulling his hammy.
