I hear you.
but you must have driven through Rayne.
Well played, sir!
Jealous. Iâm stuck in Beaumont and canât tell if there is a safe way to keep going.
If youâre in Beaumont now, you probably wonât make it. But your best hope is to go 12/190 to DeQuincy, then on to Opelousas, then down to Baton Rouge. Crossing the I-10 bridge at BR is usually a real backup. If you cross the 190 bridge it may be faster. Once across the river go south on Expressway to I-10 and on to NO.
An alternate would be to cut down to Lafayette from Opelousas, then east. But before BR, go south on La1 to Donaldsonville and take the Sunshine bridge and pick up I-10 at Sorrento. Then on into NO.
In 1979 Alvin got 42 inches in 24 hours. Still stands as the US record outside of Hawaii.
I think we need a âHigh and Dry Partyâ. We would deliver our vote to the presidential candidate
who promises to fund our water drainage proposal so we can go to games!.
I was stuck at I-10 and winnie for 4 hrs until a little before noon. I turned around via contra traffic all the way to mt belvieu. Drove north on 149 to 90. Got me to a little past the flooded freeway section at Beaumont. Made it to Stadium and seats with a couple minutes to spare.
