Game Thread: 2019 Fiesta Bowl | UCF vs LSU (12:00pm on ESPN)

They didn’t have to call that. Football is an emotional game, kid spiked the ball he didn’t hurt anyone.

Could these announcers be any bigger LSU ( P5) homers!! Geez!

It was the right call. He ripped the ball out of the QBs hands ran with it and spiked it. No real choice for the ref with the rules how they are. UCF also got away with a clear late hit out of bounds for the conspiracy theirists.

Gibbs salivates

Dumb question… why are LSU missing so many players?

So LSU gets the ball back for punching, but UCF spikes the ball and it’s first down LSU?

Injuries

UCF came to play, reminds me of the Peach Bowl. They would have been REALLY tough for us this year

Didn’t LSU get the ball back on a fumble recovery and the players punching took place afterwards?

Army was tough for us this year…SMU was tough…

UCF was talking too much smack, now LSU is interested.

Radio guy just said, “Now that LSU has woken up and is interested in playing”

I would be surprised if UCF’s defense can keep up in this game.

Good call.

I really wish they would change the rule. Ejecting the player is stupid. You know his number so there is no reason he shouldn’t be able to stay on the field with the team. Ejecting these players for games does nothing. The targeting still happens so it is just stupid. I could see taking him out for the series or even the rest of the quartet but stop the ejection garbage.

LSU holds every single play.

This is starting to get away from ucf

Burrow coukd to have a big game today. LSU weathered the initial storm of emotion from UCF. If UCF does not do something to change momentum, it could be a long day for the Knights.
