Head injuries are a big deal. What evidence do you have that targeting hasn’t served as a deterrent for less hits to the head?

You got any children or grandchildren? If so, you going to support them playing football, assuming they want to, in an environment where players can use their helmet as a weapon? It really is a big deal from a long term health perspective.

Yeah they give up a lot of yards in the first half of games but they end up making great adjustments.

So, you want to not enforce the rule for this kid because he didn’t hurt anyone. It is a rule, the refs have to enforce it. You can only claim you didn’t see something so much.
They didn’t call interfernce on UCF on the pick 6.
They waived off the obvious late hit by UCF out of bounds.
They did not call the blatant face mask by Charlton on the LSU QB.
They have to call some correct calls against UCF, don’t you think?

Announcers bringing up that UCF is not legit because of the conference and competition. “The argument that college football brings [that UCF doesn’t belong]”.
