Things might have been different if Milton was playing, but not a good look for the AAC for UCF to get obliterated by LSU.
That dumb unsportsmanlike conduct penalty in the first quarter really swung things in the other direction. Momentum is huge especially when you are playing an elite program.
UCF needed close to a perefect game without Milton. So far they are not getting it. Too many shoot themselves in the foot moments.
It is sick how the announcers are writing them off. They are so pro SEC, they are not even subtle.
Ok, onside kick time
Man, so close
4th down
And they take a delay of game on 4th and 1. Going to punt. UCF has a chance.
That will do it. Congrats to the Tigers. Condolences to the Knights.
Ah wellâŠ
Love the cheap shot by that one announcer âthey had a great season BUT they are not playoff contendersâ smh
Like how the jerkoff from ESPN said Nice season UCF but theyâre not playoff contenders before they went off the air. Because Notre Dame was so good. ESPN Sucks
It is a big deal I know, but I think the penalization goes way overboard. Because of the nature of the game, it will never be completely eliminated.
He had to throw that in there. Dude yall won by a touch. Everyone else lost by more.
Right? They were super annoying⊠they also mentioned how ucf didnât want to do the 2 for 1 with the gators. Said something to the effect you have to play by the big boyâs rules if you want to play them. I wonder if he saw ucf as a play off team last year when they beat Auburn?
ESPN and Brian Griese = Douche Bags.
Of course not and they would have said the same thing regardless of the outcomeâŠtheyâll spin whatever narrative they want to fit their p5 agenda.
The only difference between the top G5 and the P5 conferences is that the P5 team can go 9-3 in the regular season losing to 2 unranked teams including Maryland, beat KU and Tulsa by a TD, not win their conference and still play in a NY6 bowl. For the G5, you have to be nearly perfect just to sniff a NY6 bid.
UCF came within a score of LSU with the mistakes. LSU had a bunch of DBs (playersâŠnot their fans) out for the game but UCF was missing Milton. No excuses. Good game but LSU made more plays this time.
Thank goodness for the possibility of Holgorsen / Meachem / Gibbs because it is biased calls like this that have me more interested in college basketball.
this game would not have been close if milton had played.
This is the first I have heard of Meachem in play⊠how do you mean? O-Coordinator⊠isnât Dana gonna do that?
LSU has 7 defensive starters not playing, and had 2 DBs ejected. Both sides had key players out.
I donât think itâs fair to say that only UCF was impacted by missing players. LSU dominated the LoS, itâs amazing UCF was able to keep it this close. Their end of half scoring drive and last scoring drive were amazing. I donât know what they did different than the offense they ran for the rest of the game.
