There defense has not been that good all year. They are just having a great game.
It’s one game and people are going crazy.
Some UCF defensive numbers for the year.
89th in yards allowed
104th in rushing yards allowed
86th in 3rd down conversions allowed
74th in first downs allowed
They have a decent pass defense and they are having a good game.

I’m now picturing UCF fans that watched our game against Tulane going, man they are missing their top player and still have a better defense than us.

My takeaway from the UCF v Cinn game is the crowd. Very impressive!

Yes game is 11am on ABC friday
Unless ABC just picked up the game and sent them the announcement, all 3 of the conference Friday game times have not been announced.
58th in defensive efficiency, and when you have that offense, that is good enough. Good enough to be undefeated.
They are announced tomorrow - 6 days.

No doubt their defense is better than ours. I still guarantee you if we were undefeated and our defense had UCF’s numbers, people would still be complaining about how much our offense has to carry our defense. That’s the part I find humorous.
It might have been intentional. Advertising to mostly AAC fans their next ABC game.
Oh for sure. We had the 28th ranked defensive efficiency last year and people wanted to string up D’Onofrio. We lost games last year because of that offense putting the defense in terrible positions.

If Donofrio comes with a miracle and his defense shows up for the last 2 games and we win both games does he stay or he still goes out the door?

Without EO and considering our injuries this is a non-issue.
I think Oliver plays. His draft stock is slipping, it’s costing him millions of dollars, and we have a shot at a conference championship on national television… twice!
