Some of our posters seem to be Herman worshippers and seemed to think he was the best coach ever and we would still be playing in New Years bowls had he stayed. It’s funny how well he did with Levine’s recruits and has been mediocre everywhere else.

Didn’t think Florida States only win would be against Cal, but a win against Charleston Southern is looking interesting right now, maybe a one win season for a 10th ranked team.
Endzones have the script writing, so will the uniforms match the endzone?

I’ve been to about 55 practices this fall. I went to every preseason practice save one and have been to M/Tu/W during the season (when the media is allowed). Duarte is there for many, but it’s just us two. No other media member makes the effort.
JayShon Ridgle has made a ton of plays in practice this week. He had two great plays on deep balls on Tuesday that had the entire offense running down to celebrate with him - some real circus catches.
Devan Williams also makes a lot of tough catches, which is why he’s been getting more playing time. I expect Ridgle’s playing time to continue increasing.

Biggest issue I see w Utah - usually great DBs and off ball LBs missing tons of tackles.
Need UTAH to wiff big at the right time.

Do they practice in full pads and actually hit and tackle??

Ale is getting some quality reps. Standing out? 
Usually shells - helmet and shoulder pads. Not a lot of live tackling during the season - but that’s all of college football.

Ryan, how does UH’s football NIL compare with others in the Big 12? It seems like we must be near the bottom given our deficit funding for many years and relatively low attendance.
Well that, PLUS the fact that we probably don’t have a large enough number of rich fans that likewise give enough of a crap about sports to where they would be willing to fund a large NIL honeypot via their businesses, donations, etc.
I’ve never felt that UH would be a big contender in that regard, and when the USSC issued its NIL decision…I felt certain that it would NOT be good for UH.
I hope I’m wrong about that in the long run.
