Memphis has three conference losses. We have to lose 2 out of remaining 3 conference games to miss the championship game. This actually was the best possible scenario for us.

To be fair smu having back to back road trips to face us and Memphis not exactly ideal especially after losing to us in heartbreaking fashion. They didn’t really find their MOJO on offense till th 4th and it was too little late with pick on the final drive. Memphis also converted 3 4th down plays for touchdowns. 2 of them on 4th and 10 plus
insane!
