There was absolutely NO valid basis for believing or stating such a thing, and anyone with even half a brain knew that that was NOT happening because any candidate that would do that would be committing political suicide.
Even Kerry knew that much, which is why it was such a lie for him to say it. He knew good and well that it wasnāt true for that very reason. And what do you call a statement that is made when someone knows good and well that it isnāt true, and, even worse, with the intent to mislead people to your advantage, as he did? Hint: A LIE!!!

This is a nothing burger. All males are required to register for the draft at age 18, now they are being registered automatically without having to fill out a form.
Iām just pointing out how you are incorrectly using the word lie.

Kerry did exactly that when he/his campaign claimed Bush would bring back the draft.
And when you do such a thing as part of an effort to benefit yourself at someone elseās expense, as he did, it closely resembles the legal definition of fraud.

We donāt need a lot of women especially in forward combat situations. Volunteers will fill the need. No reason to clog up the system.
Including women in the draft doesnāt mean they would necessarily all be in forward combat situations, just like men wouldnāt necessarily all be in forward combat situations.
