So last night, Jake doesn’t score the tying run on a ground ball to 3rd because he didn’t read it, and tonight Dubon runs straight into an out leading to a double play.
Those are loser plays, and they’re pathetic mistakes that championship teams don’t make.

I knew forking over the $100 for FUBO two weeks ago was a bad idea.
I heard the announcer say the other day they wanted to pull Brantley to “get him off turf.” That does not sound good to me. This is when they played KC.

After a couple of 0-4 games apparently Dusty didn’t like the way he was swinging……so he’s out of lineup.
None of the players will ever say this to a reporter but guaranteed there are players that are pissed with the lineup today.

Did you see Yordan’s final at bat last night against the Orioles? It was our 27th out of the game. Yordan just stood there and took three straight strikes. (Even I could do that. So could a mannequin.) - I’d bench him too.
This team has some tremendous run producers, and the fielding has been good. But the strange .500 play at home and the spotty bull pen have led to the present hanging on by our fingernails place in the pennant race.
Ok.
I don’t think you bench your most productive run producer with a .5 game lead and a week and a half to go.

I think I’ll give Alvarez some slack for that last at bat…he needs to be in the lineup every day.

Was Yordan’s “27th out” more important than Dubon falling asleep on the base path and killing an inning?

Altuve base running in the 5th cost the team a run. He gets called out at 2nd while trying to advance a base only to have Bregman hit a HR.
Sometimes he tries to do too much.

I know Yordan is a little soft but you don’t take Lawrence Taylor out of the lineup because he jogged on a couple of plays

Altuve has been that way his entire career……I don’t mind the aggressiveness, but I do mind the timing many times……sometimes he cost us a run like what you described….
When there are two outs and he gets a base hit that knocks a guy in and then tries to stretch his hit into a double but makes the 3rd out….not a big deal.

This team is on the verge of not even making the playoffs and if it plays out this way they’ll have months to rest.
