Pollard i had heard previously that Cam Smith was top prospect in Cubs system but don’t know any details. What are his strengths etc

don’t think so, IMO…but Yankees probably pulled the plug and walked away from the asking price

I have to think Dana got the best deal; after all, it’s his business to know talent, evaluate talent and sign talent.
I’m not super knowledgeable about non-Astros players.
Is there a possibility of now being able to resign Bregman and either move him or Paredes to first base? If Bregman’s arm is an issue, but his glove is still good…maybe first base is the place for him. 
I obviously know nothing about the prospects so I defer to you and Jay.
Yeah, I’m still hoping that they decide to put money down and get Bregman.
He is their #7 prospect per MLB
Dang, for giving up a potential mvp player like Tucker, I would have tried to get their top prospect. I guess perhaps the one guaranteed year of Tucker bumped them down the prospect list.
There’s a lot of people who think Smith has the highest upside out of all the prospects in the Cubs organization. Only time will tell.
