La Grasa just doesn’t have it today.

The wheels have fallen completely off this team. Even during the terrible years, I don’t remember a scoreless streak like this one.

I have a feeling we are going to win 3 of 4 in Baltimore.

This division might consider folding. Or relegate itself to AA. How do you win an ALCS like this?

The Paredes loss is going to be tough. He was basically the motor. I was really happy with that guy. Freakin warrior.

Maybe he’ll make it back……to DH….Yordan will be out again long before then.

Ullola pitched 6 innings of shutout ball today for SL.

Only gave up 2 hits and one walk and k’d 5.

Might have another few wins if we had more than three guys in the pen that could consistently get guys out.

No Yordan, no playoffs. I think the Astros have to go through the valley of death in the last month, and will need his production.

Unless complete collapse of Mariners and Rangers happens

Getting Jake back in CF would help a lot, too, assuming he comes back close to what he was doing when he got hurt. We’re getting nothing offensively from that position.

Correa has been good enough to mitigate Paredes somewhat, but there are just too many holes around him, and there’s a serious power outage throughout the lineup. Walker has already struck out more this year than any season since first full year in the majors, and he’s on pace to easily exceed that.

And yet…first place.

Man I would almost consider leading Jake off at the top of the lineup to throw him in the fire.

And Sanchez would hit .180 against soft toss right now.

Framber has become a mediocre pitcher rather quickly. He is costing himself some $$$.

Nobody cares about Framber’s tantrums except his agent.

Astros seem to be snakebit when it comes to evaluating and signing 1B talent. Abreu and Walker turned into major disappointments.

I admire the team for taking the financial risk to fill the 1B position, but for whatever reason, the player(s) haven’t lived up to expectations.

Too much guaranteed money tends to suck the motivation out of some players. They become less hungry to excel because they know they’ll get paid whether they perform or not.
