Well Joe pulled Okert after three pitches….logical for sure.
Well since 3 of his last 4 appearances resulted in getting absolutely shelled it didn’t take a genius to go with the odds.
Dubin has been given more rope than any other pitcher I can remember….all because he had 20 good innings before his injury.
It’s not as though he were a two time Cy Young winner coming back from an injury.
He’s scared to overuse him. 
He close to the most innings he’s ever pitched in a season, so maybe?
Yeah, that 3 pitch strikeout was more than he wanted to chance.
Heaven forbid in a run one game we try a safety squeeze or any squeeze….we can’t hit a sac fly to save our lives….might try and be a smidge creative….
Good thing Caratini and Pena let them off the hook.
This bullpen other than Abreau is an adventure at this point.

They can not be any worse than Dubin and Ort.
He’s not afraid to overuse Abreu is he….did all the four out saves and 2 inning appearances have something to do with Hader’s injury?
Can’t say for sure, but using Abreu in 4 out saves is probably not a smart idea.
I agree that he risks overusing Abreu, but he’s not even close to his total workload over the last 2 seasons, and he’s 6 years younger than Okert, anyway. I don’t know why Okert hasn’t pitched more innings over the years (injury, ineffectiveness, something else?).
He was primarily a lefty specialist before they changed the rules.

Had to get Ort out of there, he is absolutely horrible. 4 hits in 2/3 of an inning. Thats after walking a game away on Sunday.
Get that, but he and Dubin should not even be on the roster.
I was kind of following the Hooks game online, and Yordan was coming up with the bases loaded, but they pinch hit for him.
What’s up with that?

Dubin and Ort gave up 7 hits in less than 2 combined innings pitched.
