I’m wondering if they pulled Yordan in the 7th to get him on a plane to Baltimore.
Not sure but Blubaugh is coming up….not sure if Ort or Dubin is leaving.
Edit—— it’s Dubin!!!

I wonder what the Astros DFA body count is this season.
Not enough.
Wow- your offense gives you a 5 spot in the top of the first, and you immediately give back 3…not good.
Wild 1 tonight.
Bit of everything and its B3.
Sanchez back at it.
Need a few innings from De Los Santos.
That pitcher smoked em seven scoreless last week.
They adjusted,
.
Gonna have to shuffle the deck in the pen some more after another horrible start.
Positive is Sanchez has shown off and tapped into his potential….maybe he’ll turn the corner with the Astronauts.
I’m sure he’s done for tonight, but I’d ride with AJ in the 8th. Once he stopped overthrowing tonignt, he’s been nasty. He’s really given the pen a chance to rest.
Where I think he can really be a weapon this year is in 1-2 inning stints….but as soon as I saw Javier meltdown I knew AJ would be thrown into the fire and asked to eat some innings.
And I agree with you 100%, he was just settling in….I definitely would have given him the ball for the 8th and potentially the 9th.
He was at what? 65 pitches? Which means he’ll probably be sent down to bring up a fresh arm( thanks CJ)….and if he isn’t sent down he is going to need at least 3-4 days rest whether he threw 65 or 85….but Joe had to get to his Ace……King
Astros win!
I’d love to see him step into Lance or CJ’s slot next time through, but he may be more valuable in long relief if he can manage it. He’s a guy I want on the playoff roster.
Crazy as F. Sanchez woke up three days ago and chose violence.
Not sure what to make of this pitching staff. They ought to nickname it “Witches Brew.”
For me I just want Walker to pare down his K’s going into October. Just wait a split second longer.
I have a feeling Correa is gonna get wired down the stretch. This guy is going to settle in and BOOM!
Abreu, fair, but Walker leads the team with 72 RBIs
And Oakland did us a solid tonight. ![]()
Stros won, M’s, Yanks, Royals, and Guardians lost. Great night all the way around!
What’s the significance of the Royals and Guardians losing? Do you just not like those teams?
“No señor. We no like them. In fact we hate them, señor!”
AL Wildcard.
If its not 'Stros.
Conner Wong would be great in Pitt.
Skenes has his regular defensive guys.
One of his defensive guys
UHs Jarod Triolo finally on a hitting tear.
Ahh ok. I haven’t been paying attention to the Wildcard standings.
Just rooting for some of the teams in the WC hunt to lose in case we choke away the division lead.
