Altuve, Correa need to rip him a new one. Same way did McCullers after He showed up Yuli.

Framber is more worried about his hair and peanuts

I’d actually put it on Diaz and Caratini - those guys need to have Salazar’s back. Catchers stick together.

In any event, Framber needs to have his ass kicked.

“Ive always believe the best team in baseball is the team that gets hot at the right time. I.e. Atlanta Braves winning the World Series as a wildcard with only 70 something wins“

Actually that Braves team won 88 games and the division, but as a certified Braves hater, I am here for this!

:rofl::joy:

Framber costing himself years and money with that behavior last night. Basically, he will need to pitch 3-4 gems in the postseason to wipe away what he did last night.

Agree. Diaz and Caratini should intervene.

This is something that Framber is going to have to own, or it’s going to be a problem.

Sources tell me tensions rose in the Astros clubhouse last night, after the loss, when players confronted Framber Valdez for his in game actions involving César Salazar. The argument escalated and coaches eventually stepped in to calm the situation. While intent behind the pitch remains unclear, Valdez’s initial refusal to address Salazar frustrated many in the clubhouse.

Do you all believe they should suspend him w/o pay?

I think the MLBPA would object, absent proof of intent.

But there are other ways to handle it within the clubhouse. Taking no action should not be an option.

I just saw that Arrighetti is back on the IL with elbow inflammation. :expressionless: :expressionless:

Chas got sent down for Caratini.

Spencer to the IL with elbow inflammation….better or worse than discomfort? :smirk:

Good Lord

To the injuries or this offense?

Just pathetic……they make everyone look like Cy Young.

On Salazer missing the pitch: I think he was expecting a breaking pitch rather than a snot slinger to the chest.

I hope Correa told that MFer that this is a business, not a play room. The franchise deserves a professional. They pay the guy s sh-- metric ton of money to throw a baseball. Acting like a brat to your own teammates is lightweight. I don’t agree he needs a handler behind the plate. He needs to conform to the MFer the manager puts back there. Period.

And this offense is heinous. This whole week has been a pi-- pot. With these two games and Chuck E Cheese being arrested in Tallahasee.

Jake Myers had to leave his rehab assignment in the 5th inning last night after fouling a ball off of his shin.

Oh, good.

I hate rehab assignments. It’s freaking September.

Yordan is batting .434 since his return to the lineup, in which the Astros won 5 of the 8 games he played. He is rested, hungry and seeing the pitch incredibly well.

Just a speculation, but it’s possible Yordan is taking the missed games personally and is highly motivated to make up for lost time.

If so, the balance of the season looks much brighter because he is the core of the synergism the Astros desperately need.
