I think I said it already, not positive but Hader will miss most if not all of the season….
Not sure who told him rest was all he needed but this will end in surgery, mark my words.

On another note, the 17 year old Cuban outfielder I told you guys about when he signed last year is now the #1 prospect in the system.
I think he will play “A” ball this year as an 18 year old.

You make tens of millions playing for your employer and you put them on the line and the hook by getting hurt in extracurricular stuff.
What are the parameters for paying a contract to a player hurt outside MLB play?

Hader felt “discomfort” and will be shut down and reexamined in Houston.
I can’t believe they went all fall and winter and seemingly had no idea he wouldn’t be ready….
This likely ends in surgery, something that could have been done in September/October.
I would LOVE to be wrong but this is the Astros.
