But im going to just keep it simple as far as Delrecco. I originally looked at the film and how he played and i saw a baller. Once the comments about the conference were posted, i went back. He is a bully for sure, but he isnt bullying anybody with the skillset that will see once we get in the sweet 16 or in a ranked matchup. In most cases, HE was the bigger player. Ok then i looked at the Kent State v Purdue game. Uh oh…Maybe he was hurt or sick….ima leave it at that.
So as of now, to me Delrecco is an unknown as far as a SURE starter. Hes gonna play and do well. Non conference and even some B12 matchups, he should see some matchups with similar talent he faced in the MAC. If he comes off the bench, he may also dominate those matchups. Sampson said he would be an “asset”. 20 minutes off the bench would still be an asset.

He practices vs Tugler and Diane…that will definitely get him ready for the big boys.
I will end with this. I think we are fine either way. Diane or Delrecco is going to work out and be a solid starter. I doubt both of them are below what we expect.
Whoa…hold on now…not sure of what you consider a+ defense is…Harwell held his own and didnt blow assignments. He did his job and contested shots. Thats C+ defense

Cenac was also guarding AJ the first game. and they were raving about the job he did. Cenac stock went up because of that.
Cant overate Harwells defense and then discount Delrecco all MAC defense. Delrecco can stay in front of his man and be able to defend at a minimum.
You may be right about C+ being too low. Because defense is probably the only reason he was even out there taking minutes from McCarty and even Mercy. But definitely not an A. And future DPOY? Based on that?
He was definitely better than Cenac, Fleming, Mercy maybe even Sharp. That shouldnt give him an A.
