Holding my opinion on CWF until the end of the season. IMO Scrimmages don’t show you the full picture and you only see the complete package with game play. I gave up on Holgerson because he had the attitude of it wasn’t his fault and he wasn’t going to adjust his coaching. The fans did not matter. Let’s see how CWF adjusts once he gets to know how the position players play. At the end of the season and no improvements, then I will start complaining. I already looked at this season as an evaluation period for CWF. How does he react to his failures and how will he adjust?
No top receiver will come here to play for this crap offense. Fritz was the wrong hire.
Based on your analysis…I am sure he was the right hire …your track record stinks
Hate these takes.
Imagine looking a senior in the face and telling him, this year means little but next year when you’re gone, those players will benefit.
Equivalent of punting on 3rd down.
I hope not. We have to stand by CWF.
…but on gotula.net… they are saying that with CWF offense it will be hard to recruit…
Yeah, I think a lot of fans are overlooking the defensive improvement. It was the first game, and we’re clearly not the ‘85 Bears. We blew a few coverages and missed some tackles, but the bottom line is an explosive UNLV offense only scored 20 points and gained just over 300 yards despite our defense being on the field a lot. So I can see the defense being a pretty decent unit this year. Unfortunately, I can’t agree with you on Smith. Just feel that he’s going to continue to struggle because of his poor decision-making. I would go with Chriss or Ale the rest of the season. I mean they can’t be any worse, can they?
Defense situationally did really well. If we can get the offense going we are going to win some games. Won’t see a better offense this year.
Yea OU is going to put 70 in your asses
They’re “going to put 70 “in” your asses,” huh? You really are a fruit loop.
You don’t think OU can score 70
I just hope they don’t put any points in our asses.
This is football. Not a prison shower.
Who says it isn’t both? Ever heard of the Longest Yard?
We’re not giving up 70. Their offense isn’t better than UNLV’s. Talented. Yes. Same efficiency? Nope.
Woah
We might give up 70 if we have anymore 7 yard punts.
At least I never got beat by UNLV at home unlike this old grandpa Fritz.
-Tony Levine
Tony Levine lost to first year FBS UTSA at the grand opening of TDECU. Your post aged like milk on a hot houston day.
Tony Levine lost to FIRST YEAR FBS UTSA AT HOME in our then shiny new stadium. That is worse than what took place last night.
