Renewing your season tickets or just flip to secondary market and pay per game?
What say you?
I might be done with UH football for awhile if this guy returns to Cullen.
23 seasons of Cougar Football season tickets… lived through 0-11 in 2001 as a senior.
Too many good things going on at campus to allow this BS to continue…
I kept football this year because it made financial sense to maintain status in the cougar pride prioritiy system so i can remain well positioned for basketball postseason tickets.
Willie deserves more than a season before people bail on him.
The offense sucked but we weren’t left with much at all. Dana left him a mess of a roster. We have a really good QB recruit coming in and I’m sure we will be shopping the portal.
I’m far from sold on Barbary and hoping we move on from him. But I’m not considering dropping my tickets over it.
Willie has been doing this a long time and has been successful everywhere he’s been. I ain’t bailing after one year (especially when it was better than what the last guy did in the big 12 in his 5th year here).
Willie will be here two years from now. So we need to embrace it. Anyone who thought we were gonna have a winning season wasn’t paying attention. This team was depleted. Fritz isn’t a PR hotshot. He builds things. Lets give him some breathing room.
Literally all of our key receivers transferred out when Dana left leaving us with only Manjack, who was supposed to be “the guy”
Donovan Smith is just not consistent, and he was what in my opinion i call an emergency portal transfer for Dana. Otherwise Smith would have went to an already established program.
Zeon was never meant to be a starter.
OLine is bad.
Barbay either knows something we don’t, or he is just truly a bad OC
You get to my age (66) and you realize you can’t afford to take seasons off until we are good. I will be there every year for every game until I either physically can’t go or am dead.
U of H has been a tremendous blessing in my life and and that of my family.
See you in the stands next season.
If I cancel my season tickets next year, it’ll be because the gameday atmosphere has sucked, not because the team has. It’s unacceptable that games are only fun when the team is ranked in the top 20.
I will still keep my season tickets and go to the games regardless of who is on the coaching staff. The players on the field are still my team, regardless of production or win-loss record.
BTW, I think the results this season are good for recruiting. Kids that go to our games will look at the guys playing and think, “I have a great chance to start next year if I come here.”
NEver understoof the concept of ditching season tickets on every little bad thing.
For me it is about long term support of a program. Also about finding seats I like and meeting other season ticket holders around me to see every year. A coach will come and go as will players, the program is the important aspect to build.
Yes we will renew as long as my health is ok.
I’m trusting Fritz to make the decisions.
I gripe about the OC as much as most, but until we get consistency from a quarterback and OL it won’t matter who calls the plays
