Isn’t he also a Legacy recruit?
I believe I read somewhere that either his mother or father were student-athletes back in the day for UH in Track & Field, iirc.

Interesting, it seems we were the only school that made an offer.
I mean 247 shows that he is a 3*, and at 6’5", I would have expected at least some offers from G5 Programs.
Accoridng to Twitter, Nevada and Georgia Southern offered and UCLA was interested but didnt offer. Not sure why it didnt show up on 247

FYI: in middle school he did film study at USC with Sam Darnold. Helton and his dad were friends at UH.
