Not sure what spin your referencing. I was making a sarcastic comment on facts that the appointee was inexperienced and young Iranian men came through the boarder and released or were got a ways.
I think any terrorist attack is more likely at a later time when guards are down not in the current vigilant time.
I’m not sweating it too much. We’ve put a lot of $ and effort into getting the likes of landscapers and moms of tiny infants off the streets so I think we can rest easy. /s
Srsly tho as I dad with a kid who works across the street from World Trade Center every day I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little concerned.

If it’s true iran was working on nuclear bombs then someone has to stop them. We have about 30 bases around iran to help protect other Arab nations who also feel threatened by iran. If they simply wanted nuclear power plants, it’s a stretch bc they are oil rich. We didn’t hit civilian targets so they should give it up. Iran had a war with iraq for about 10 yrs so they aren’t a good neighbor even in that region. We aren’t nation building nor regime change at the moment nor I’m I for that. I hope their own people take care of a regime change. Iran in the 70s was a cool country that look like us in the 70s. They don’t have to go back to that necessarily but they do have give up the nuclear capacity in regards to building a bomb. Their regime oppresses women rights etc. They aren’t a good neighbor as it stands now.

I know we messed with countries do to our special interests so we’re not innocent there nor in South America bc I read the book called the banana republics. However regardless iran needs to give up the nukes bc once they have that capability then it’s a tougher game for all. We need their own people to remove that radical regime which again suppresses women rights etc. I’m totally against nation building bc of costs etc and it doesn’t end well historically. Hope is we get rid of their nuclear capacity and the people revolt for a better country. Research what Iran looked like in the 70s which was free people and women were free there.
The regime in charge is bad but their people are good. We’re not hitting civilian targets unlike what they will do here which is a difference.
