anyone having issues with all google apps this morning?

my YouTube TV wont work on my fire sticks

I cant access ANY google websites - gmail, YouTube, YouTube TV, google, maps, anything. also having issues going to various other websites that appears to be random.

ive reset my entire home network, uninstalled and reinstalled the apps on my TV and checked for updates across the board.

My partner and I have had issues with google and other sides not loading on WiFi but work ok on Verizon cellular. My internet provider is att fiber. Guessing it’s a dns issue somewhere. Have done all the rebooting as well.

Some sites work fine, others won’t load.

Having similar issues. I also just noticed everything loads just fine on mobile data, but some sites are incredibly slow through wifi.

Glad it’s not just me… I think.

sounds exactly like whats going on here as well - I have ATT Fiber also.

tried calling ATT but they said it would be 1-3 hours before I could speak with someone…

this is real lame.

update - using my cell phones personal hotspot - I linked my FireStick to it and was able to open and run Youtube TV just fine.

so im thinking this is ATT Fiber related.

Downdector now reporting multiple issues with internet in the Houston and other areas.

I was told that att that would get back with me in 2-11 hours. :joy:

trying to chat with a live agent now. I was finally able to log into my ATT account.

will keep posting updates / findings here. this is quite annoying.

I really don’t get when they have a known problem they don’t issue a statement upon reaching their phone access or website. Would save themselves a lot of grief as well.

have to assume thats whats up with the wait times - just flooded with people trying to figure out wtf is going on.

my live chat keeps going from 10 minutes down to 3 minutes, then back up to 8 minutes, down to 4 minutes, up to 6 minutes…

Best money I have ever spent was getting cel service with my iPad.

live agent countdown just went away… I give up.

please keep posting info here if you see anything. hoping this gets resolved somewhat soon.

I tried to watch the EPL on my TV and YouTube TV didn’t work.

Neither did the computer but I streamed it on my phone and it worked.

ok so I stumbled across a “work around” to get YouTube TV to work on my fire sticks.

I connect them to my personal hotspot and get YouTube TV working that way. I then turn OFF my personal hotspot forcing my Fire Sticks to re-connect to my home internet (ATT Fiber).

when I open the YouTube TV app back up - it picks back up the video where it cut off from my hotspot.

so Im now navigating YouTube TV through ATT Fiber…

ok just tried the same thing on my computer and it worked.

connected to my hotspot and went to YouTube, google, gmail, etc… that I couldnt go to on my wifi.

I then connected BACK to my wifi and went to them all again - and they all worked for the first time since the issues started.

im sure there’s an IT answer for this - where’s @Kyle_Be_Coogin

Good! I hope it continues to work for you! It seems here that different websites work and then don’t work sometimes. It changes often.

Nothing new here. I tried having their system reboot for me again, nothing. I tried my self again, nothing. I called again to create a callback. Earliest they have for me is 9:30 tonight. :roll_eyes:

So, you know it’s not an internet connectivity issue because when you log into the app on the hotspot & then force the switch your application continues to work with ATT fiber connection.

It’s only opening & starting the application on ATT fiber when the issue occurs… right?
