wonder how our NIL compares to like European leagues. Hard to guess our NIL or Jamal’s personal NIL, but it doesnt seem out of the question to beat this
The average salary basketball players earn in Europe ranges between $60,000 to $200,000 per player for every season. It could go as high as $500,000, especially if they’re part of the highest-level league.
problem would be if he got hinted/promised a 2-way deal in the NBA in the 2nd or as an undrafted FA. thats like over 550k. and I doubt he’ll get that in NIL.
He can improve his shooting in college, but probably not his profile given how much profile he’s gained this year. He can also probably improve his shooting more in G league with no other responsibilities
Kris Gardner hinted at some big recruiting news after he mentioned that all the high-level Houston area BBall recruits were at the game last night, on his post-game show.
I just looked up the season stats and Jamal is averaging 13.3 PPG. It feels like it should be way higher than that. Over his last 10 games (dating back to the 29 point performance against Texas Tech, he’s averaging 18.5/game. The good news is, his average has done nothing but go up throughout the season. He just keeps getting better and better.
Jamal’s stats in conference have been amazing. 16.8 pts, 5.7 ast, 3.8 reb, 2.2 stl, and only 1.8 tov. And probably the most underrated stat his FT% in conference is right at 85%! He’s the main the reason our FT% has gone from 63% to 68% lol
MRCoog - are either Kingston Flemings or Jeremiah Green similar to Jamal Shead in body type, ability, or non-stop motor? I’m not asking if either young man is as good as Jamal Shead, just if they have the same type of potential? We may never find another Jamal Shead, I get that. But, are these kids similar in any way? I don’t follow recruiting. Thanks.
