Chron sports has practically disappeared anyway…I dislike Solomon and wont miss him, but him not being there is hardly noticed these days…The whole paper is barely 15 pages, except for Sunday. I remember when the sports page was that big every day, but these are bad times for newspapers…

Why not?….he has kicked many when they are down. Normally I would be a tad bit more sympathetic, but he wronged someone close to me. First hand knowledge of his roachness.

He was an extremely lazy pseudo sports journalist. Nothing more than a thin layer of surface research, trotted out old stereotypes about UH and 99% of the time couldn’t find anything positive to write about UH. The overwhelming majority of that 1% of positivity was back-handed compliments. He didn’t know any of the UH programs from extreme lack of involvement - not on campus, not at pressers, no inside contacts, yet he would drone on about problems at UH like he had knowledge.
