His freshman year, 2023-24 season, he showed promise. Clips of Sampson saying he was impressed by Jizzle James
Sophomore yr, did not take a big jump. Team underachieved. He shot 28% from 3pt.
For some reason, Jizzle doesn’t enter the portal. Decides to return to Cincinnati for a 3rd season. And then stuff went down over the summer. Very sad

Lots of potential!
His substance abuse issues have likely been going on a while which would explain his mediocre 2nd season.
He did some good things at UC for sure. But was also really frustrating at times too. His potential was always better than his production.
UC may replace him quickly but adding the Jordi kid from Europe already helped. And they could add one more
