Prime would have brought better athletes. His son would be the starting QB. We wouldn’t have lost to Rice and Cincinnati.
Colorado beat TCU. Would we have done the same?
Maybe we win at Tech.
Our loses would have been more competitive, except for KState.
IMO, our record would be 6-4, possibly 7-3.

I’m not getting it….to me it seems like your post is calling out everyone that wanted Sanders as coach….in that we would have wound up 4-6 even if we hired him….which is of course completely off base.

False. Prime dismantled a 1 win team, brought in his own “Louis” and has won 3 more games than last year.
He’s not coaching 1 win guys, he’s coaching his guys.

What I said isn’t false. He took over a 1 win team. What he did after that doesn’t change what he took over. I said nothing about that.
Anyway, he made his team better. Whether you like how he did it or not, he did.

I know what Prime did but that doesn’t change what I said. The OP wasn’t apples to apples. That was my point.
If Dana comes back (and I expect him to), he will turn over the roster here. He did last year at some level. Not quite like Prime, but we had a lot of newcomers this year.
No clue if Prime gets them ranked but he made them better and quickly. Dana did the opposite. He did have one good year here in 2021 and I credit him for that. But he’s he’s on his way to his 3rd losing season in his 5 years. Last guy to do that here was Dimel. Briles, Sumlin, Levine, Herman, and Applewhite combined for 3 losing seasons.
