Fritz has been coaching for decades for a reason. Keeps his composure and confidence up.
Weigman has had 2 bad games in a row
I get the feeling that Fritz is trusting his passing less and less
I can’t imagine where we would be without Weigman this year.
Yes he made some bad decisions but still led us in rushing and had 223 yards passing.
Nice to 8-2 and if we split our next two we close at 9-3. How sweet would that be?
As long as we beat Baylor I’ll be happy. There is just something about Baylor that makes me hate them the most.
He’s a Gritty kid. Any other QB, (except for Keenum) , we lose this game
Even Keenum had bad games. Anyone remember Air Force in 2009?
Wasn’t it speculated he was injured? Or am I misremembering that?
I don’t think Weigman has been the same QB since his concussion.
I think any K/W QB wins this game for us
Do we win without Cw? I say we don’t. Even his mistakes which would kill other teams did not stop him pumping the ball to our receivers and ground game. He has the will to win and do it anyway we can. He is our guy, our leader. Let balls go where they may.
I was talking about Keenum in the 2009 bowl. But when was Weigmans concussion?
To be fair we don’t really have anyone else that could beat him out currently.
I mean… it’s literally the only move he/we have. Anyone else would be a considerable downgrade.
Against Texas Tech.
Then I would disagree. Because Weigman definitely improved after that game. If it I had happened in the Arizona St. game I would say you might be onto something.
He took a lot of hits vs ASU so he may just be a bit worn down. Off week should be good for him
It was a remarkable win where we overcame all the turnovers and won anyway! Give Weigman credit. He battled back after the interceptions and drove us down to get the points that won the game. Very tough for us to win in Orlando, so a great win tonight!
CW’s picks were not good throws. Underthrew that deep route. Then threw to the wrong side of the WR…then the pick-6.
I will say the refs were letting the DBs do a lot of bumping down the field on the WR (both ways). It was a very physical game by both Defenses.
It is harder to complete passes when they officiate like that. Even Thomas’s TD he was getting bumped a lot before hitting the gas.
You’re a ding dong. Conner threw a pick six right before half and coach put the ball right back in his hands with a minute and 30 seconds to go before half to cut the deficit to single digits. We win with Conner and we lose with Conner and so far we’ve done a whole lot more winning than losing
