When in reality. He’s going to be the first point guard taken because he is the most explosive player in the draft. That can get to the rim whenever he wants and opens up the floor for everyone else. Has very little to do with his three point shooting. But Pesik will continue to tell us that is the reason. He is also a ball hawk on defense.
I think you missed my point about the 3poit shootings
The slight increase comment wasn’t that it would make 3pt shooting a selling point for him . But to not let it stand out
I noted at 30 3s for the season at 30 mins a game was abnormally low. He would be bottom of the pack in volume for draftable guards… (it would be a talking point) but at 45-60 there will be a ton around that range …
And yes that minor difference in volume per game makes up that difference (which was my point)
Again go to the biggest NBA draft scout website , which is espn. They updated their projections last week… Kingston in the Lottery and the entire talking point was just about his shooting. They hype up his shooting in the players era/FSU but they have questions if it’s sustainable but note for now you have to rank him this high (not my take btw)
i literally post the draft boards the day after we had this deabte (after the auburn game)…(which pollard just posted trying to misrresent me )… espn moved him from undrafted to late 1st, bleacher had mid 1st… he wasnt solidified in Lottery convos a “universal” pick and not just random hot takes … was his 25pt vs tennesse … a game he went 3-4 from 3
IMHO Flemings will stay as long as HIS AGENT and SAMPSON tell him to. And if the agent is as smart as he should be he should tell his client that guys who play DEFENSE tend to last…
The NBA is famous for tight rosters. Anybody who sends his client off for what could be a shortened revenue stream is an idiot. What would one rather have, 3 years in the G league or 10 in the NBA?
Kingston is very frail and doesn’t know the rotations….that was someone’s opinion on here……but no worries, CKS and his agent will make sure he stays in school another year to learn how to play defense.
