My hot take on Flemings.
Most of you never saw Jerry West of the Los Angeles Lakers, but I loved his ability to dribble, stop on a dime, jump straight up for a jump shot. Kingstonâs jump shot reminds me of Jerry Westâs jump shot.
Kingston will be on with the Four Quarters guys tonight at 8 p.m., discussing his rapid ascent, how college has matched his expectations, and heâll break down his Seattle Seahawks.
True, but you forget how pretty a 10-15 ft. pull up jumper can be when it is all net. Nobody does it better than KF.
Current players for sure. Otis Birdsong comes to mind for all time. Two of the best ever and both Coogs. Pretty Salty.
. .
What other players in our history come to mind when it comes to having a great mid range pull-up game.
Here are mine
- Kingston
- Michael Young
- Anthony Goldwire
- Rob Gray
- Byron Smith
- Jamal Shead
- Alvin Franklin
Even though they were three point gunners, Sasser and LJ would be high on that list.
Aka THE LOGO
Wow⊠a guy from San Antonio thatâs not a Cowboys fan⊠impressive.
The Logo shot goes to
Sharp
Armoni Brooks
Andre Owens
Fluff McKiver
Michael Young
Birdsong has been the best Iâve seen at UH.
Should add Michael Young in there and I think he could make either list as a shooter.
Poo Welch
Joe Hamood, Don Chaney, Poo Welch, Rob Williams, Otis Birsong, Shead and now Flemings.
McKiver was a heck of a shooter. Doesnât get enough respect for what he did here.
Armoni brooks.
Fluff is fun to listen to on the pawd broadcast.
They do need a young PG.
And the Rox actually have the frat capital to make it happen.
This I could support
What was the deal with Kingston in the BYU huddle towards the end of the game?
