On Channel 11 Sports Sunday tonight, they said that both Sampson and Flemings said Flemings will return for sophomore year. I know that could change at any time, but that would be great.
It would also be great if Cenac returns as well. Could you imagine a front court group with Cenac, Tugler, Diane, McCarty and possibly McFarland? Oh yeah, Lath also.
The back court group will be Flemings, Harwell, Miller, Jefferson, Jackson, and Alozie. A lot of depth there.
Of course all of that is contingent on none of the guys go into the portal.

Is this the segment? I didn’t hear them say anything about Fleming returning. He is considereed a possible top 5 pick, so there is zero chance.
I think Cenac looks like a NBA dream, a 6’11 big with a nice outside shot. He’s a 1st rounder, so he’ll be gone too

Sampson wouldn’t let him. He genuinely wants the players to do what’s best for them. Top 5 this year, he goes. Doesn’t get much higher than top 5 and the injury risk outweighs any reward. An extra year to start earning for the rest of his life.

Is there a percentage less than zero? If so, that’s the percentage chance of Kingston coming back. He’s a top 5 pick.
We will have to get our PG from the portal next season. I hope we can do it since we are so poor.

Not only the $ but the leeway you get as a lottery selection to be successful is much greater than an UFA that plays their way into the NBA or even a 2nd round pick…
Think how much Grimes has had to do to prove he’s a legit NBA player…

Some combination of those picks will get the Rockets up to 5 to take Kingston……

I did not see the Channel 11 segment but I can’t imagine Flemings returning if his game keeps ascending. Between the last portion of UH’s schedule, the B12 Tournament, and the NCAA Tournament, Flemings will be able to further display his skills against top competition, in mostly nationally covered games.
I yelled outside my front door asking if Cenac and Flemings are coming back and I swear the sound from the woods and creek answered back “Yes, book it.” Now this was just confirmed by Sampson and Flemings on live TV. This is great news. I am also hearing the same thing from CBS News. Th is not wishcasting, it’s real.
So lets talk more about our team next year with everyone coming back.
Just thinking about it it makes sense to lose like 40 million dollars to come back if you love the school.
