If that kid just keeps going to the rack good things are gonna cascade. He’s snaky in the lane and has wonderful control.

He drives but doesn’t bury his head, he is always looking to pass. He has pretty good hang time. He’s kind of what I had hoped we were getting in Caleb Mills.

If not, here it goes…
I was at Coach’s Pub in midtown after a UH v SMU game circa Chicken’s era…
I was talking to this guy next yo me about Hardaway Jr. who was playing a game on the Knicks at that time…
Then I realized these other guys were getting super hype about the guy I was talking to…
It was Tim Hardaway… he’d been scouting the game at the Hof.
He had a few pops and then dropped this gem when asked abouylt whetjer he would’ve beat Jordan 1-v-1…
He said… “Man, I would’ve f$cked Jordan up!”

When I was in HS in El Paso during the summer we would go to the Westside Rec. and run 5’s.
My group was guys from my HS team….we would win 3-4 in a row….then Tim, Antonio Davis, Jeep Jackson, Pony, etc. would roll in dominate about 10 in a row and split.
I did not realize I was playing against future NBA guys.

Coogs were 10 of 12 from the foul line, Auburn was 21 of 33. Fouls are what kept them in the game.

Milos and Sharp need to understand they do not need to try and win the game on their own….
The Coogs were easy to defend the last couple of minutes because the two of them were dribbling the air out of the ball.
I have faith that CKS and Kellen will get them on the same page as the season progresses.

Plus Harwell and Mercy.
Harwell was moving better today and didn’t wilt with the atmosphere.
Mercy has looked good as well. Today’s matchups didn’t suit him well.

We’re 4 games in and Flemmings is gonna be a lottery pick, Cenac too. Jury’s out on Harwell but he’s coming back from injury, gotta give him some time

He also willingly gave the ball up a couple times at the end. I don’t expect he’ll be doing that much going forward.
