Rewatching some highlights from today’s game. Flemings has a mix of many guys’ games, but he moves a lot like Kyrie sometimes. Not necessarily the same handles, but a lot of the other moves for sure.
I doubt that was their decision, as it has happened many times in the past . . . . .
I think I am at a point where I want the ball in the hands of the King at the end of the game. He can shoot, drive, or dish. Somebody has to be open for a shot.
Comparing Flemings to Rob Williams is a bit premature. Maybe we should let Flemings be Flemings?
Flemings is gonna be Flemings regardless of who we compare him to…
Possibly….but they were never running much of a set….just ad-libbing….did not look as though it was planned or set in stone.

It seemed like that was the plan - Auburn just did a good job of forcing him to get rid of it
Pair that with Big 12 award and King is cooking.
Eventually he’ll have an off night shooting but through the first 4 games he’s killing it. Add to that his tenacious defense, leadership, and ability to drive the lanes, and he’s looking like a lottery pick. Whether he keeps this up is anyone’s guess. The talent level is there, though. Anyone that watches basketball can see this kid is a baller.
Sampson would not agree that his defense was good in the last game. ![]()
Coach called the Auburn gamw his worst D
Where did you see that? I haven’t heard anything from Sampson on that game. Nada
[ - YouTube] Guess we’ll never get a post game presser from Auburn
Since we were just talking about this Jonathan Wasserman bleacher reports main draft person was on a show talking updated projection.
He says he has Kingston Flemmings in the lottery he noted that shooting is the biggest question mark, but he has shown decent efficiency in very small volume, and he thinks the volume will go up a when he gets more comfortable and think he will prove to be a capable shooter.
(Did vastly drop everyone else)
Edit: out of curiosity I searched ESPN, they updated they have Kingston late 1st … note him as a elite “2pt player” … not unlike bleacher, espn is still very high on cenac at #7 pick, jojo super late 1st round, and uzan late 2nd round (espn has us with 4 drafted)
… but Harwell stock is drop if like crazy from all

To be fair, Sampson consistently critiques his players to make sure their heads don’t get too inflated. The defense Flemings played on Pettiford down the stretch of the game, which included a block in the final seconds, was pretty outstanding in my opinion.
Bleacher Report just released their most updated 2026 NBA draft rankings and Kingston was the highest Cougar taken, at #9.
Sorry not bashing you or your post… but ESPN is a marketing tool for itself and what they broadcast.
Apologies if I offend.
I may be naive and a unrepentant homer but I would not be shocked to see both #4 and #5 come back.
I’m thinking we will try dang hard to make it worth it for them.
Also, we have played a total of 4 games, but I’m already quite impressed.
