I want a bowl that is either in a dome or a warm climate.
A regular selection for the Texas Bowl would be fine with me. Reminiscent of the Bluebonnet Bowl for those who remember it.
Not while Georgia Tech is doing what they’re doing.
After the Final Four experience I will never ever go to the Alamo Dome for anything. Every seat is obstructed view. Or at least the ones I had were obstructed. So all the seats I sat in were obstructed view. Plus it’s old and crappy. Hard pass.
I’ll keep saying it…NIL is going to turn the college football hierarchy upside down.
Bigger cities…more marketing opportunities for their sthletes.
Schools in Atlanta, Houston, Nashville & Cincinnati are having steallar seasons
Are any PAC teams going to be eligible?
Until recently, the school in Atlanta had a more recent National Championship than their rivals in Athens. They’ve still won more recently than Penn State or Notre Dame has, for example. Hardly an inversion of the traditional order, that.
Texas Bowl is pushing hard for OU UH. That’d be fun.
The riverwalk is awesome during Christmas time and even with the Alamo Bowl in town they have enough hotel beds that the hotels don’t get crazy expensive.
Agreed, went to both Final 4 games. The place is a dump
My exact order of preference too.
Rate Bowl vs Nebraska (beat Holgi!)
Texas or Liberty Bowl vs Texas
Went to Final Four and agree that The Alamodome is not that great.
However The Riverwalk is very enjoyable.
The Alamodome itself is garbage but it’s a fun game and a great lead up to the game.
UH vs USC in San Antonio would be sweet.
Anywhere except the Independence Bowl. Shreveport is awful!
My preference ut at either:
Alamo Bowl (great food)
Texas Bowl
I worked there in college in 2010 one summer. My sister played one year of softball at Bossier Parrish Community College.
I saw Liberty in one projection last week the game was fun the two times we went there and we have been lucky weather wise so if we go back we are due shitty weather. I would rather Texas or Alamo just to be indoors.
OU vs. UH would be my dream scenario aside from a playoff berth. They’re my other team. I’m headed up to Norman to watch them play LSU in November
As long as we avoid the Alamo Bowl then I am fine.
I don’t want to go back inside the Alamodome after what happened in the national championship.
