I just checked Ticketmaster who is the Texas Bowl authorized seller of tickets for this game.
The 500s and 600s will be tarped off.
Guys remember to ONLY buy your tickets directly from UH NOT from a reseller. Tickets sold on resale are not counted in the attendance numbers for any school, just a general attendance. Also UH gets none of the money and in fact loses money when you buy from resale sites.

A newsy wrinkle from Bevacqua: As part of an MOU signed last spring, Notre Dame is assured of a CFP berth if it is ranked in the top 12 starting next year.
If this year’s situation unfolds next year, the final at-large team (Miami) would have gotten bumped for No. 11 Notre Dame.

I wanna be clear, though, that “giving the biggest titty babies in college sports what they want” also includes letting Bama whine their way into the CFP. How long until some poor little SEC team throws a temper tantrum because it’s so unfair that they got punished for playing in the Round of 16 and didn’t get to play in the Quarterfinals? Just give them all the participation trophy they clearly want.
Notre Dame should have been in. They’re also a bunch of losers for throwing a temper tantrum when they didn’t get their way. Win one of the two hard games you played all year and this isn’t even a question.
