Yeah, not sure why I’m supposed to.
Actually, yes (or at least what you think is my outrage). See any thread about Twitter.
Wonder if we’d get this same post if Caitlin Clark-led Iowa missed the anthem instead of Angel Reese-led LSU? My gut tells me absolutely not.
I would have reacted the same.
But would Chris have? Nah.
Why would I if I don’t watch their games?
I think that’s the point. Why would anyone care about something like this for a sport/team/etc. they don’t care about?
Did Caitlyn cross her heart during the anthem? Did Iowa players sing along? Did they know all the words?
Is it bad when teams yell other words during the anthem, like Stars! or home of the (Sooners!, Braves!, etc)?
College Teams are typically not on the court or field for the National Anthem
I care that a team demonstrate respect for the National Anthem.
You have a lot outrage to make up for all the times you didn’t know a team wasn’t there
But only care enough if someone tells you even though it happens all the time at many schools apparently.
In other words, it doesn’t seem like you really do.
A real man doesn’t give way to anger and discontent, and such a person has strength, courage, and endurance – unlike the angry and complaining. The nearer a man comes to a calm mind, the closer he is to strength.”

Hey all of you not fully outraged
Ladies and gentlemen, meet the Amazing Mind Reader. What he doesn’t ascertain from his magical powers, he makes up and puts you under his spell that what he says must be believed.
I said it seems, never said anything must be believed. It also seems like a logical conclusion.
The outrage seems very selective and incomplete, no?
Especially when the UH Football team has never been on the field for the anthem at home games but haven’t heard or seen a peep about that.
You don’t know that they aren’t demonstrating respect for that National Anthem. There’s no reason they have to do it on the court. I know I don’t do it from my seats, sometimes I’m on the concourse.
Yea I was thinking about that too but wasn’t sure, couldn’t remember.
It’s about race, it always is. If it were the 1950s, the people complaining about the anthem would just be using the n-word instead. Can’t do that anymore, so they find another way to say it. Nobody complaining about the anthem actually cares about who stands or is present for the anthem, they just want to demonize minorities.
There, I said it.
90210 are you outraged UH players on not present when the national anthem is played?
Nah, cause they’re “the good ones”.
