LSU girls basketball team misses National anthem

Where did I say it was new? The point is that it’s literally not a problem and only performative patriots that love to fap to the song are getting their knickers in a twist over this.

well we know from your past posts that we can rule you out as a patriot. These poor beaten down players with thier full scholarships, meal plans, nil $. Whooo is them.

None of that makes sense (no surprise) but if I’m not a patriot do I still gotta pay taxes? Or do I now get a pass? I’d like that money back…

Nice.
Who made you in charge of defining what a patriot is, or what ritual you must follow ?

What year were they last on the court for the anthem?

So like waving your hands as if you’re a conductor would be a no no?

I don’t really care honestly, but damn Kim Mulkey needs some PR training lately

61 year old head coach needs pr training because the coach called out a reporter for something sexist or offensive said about the coach’s team?

Now if the Coach was Kelvin Sampson, would you say that?

I do not know enough about coach Mulket to say if I like her or not. She wins, alot, and staying at the top is tough. We love Kelvin but Indiana fans are still pissed at him.

I agree with PR training or getting a new team. Here is why.

Clearly she was worried there was going to be something significant in that reporters piece but it was not going to be the first critical piece on her. She thought it was so significant she tried to get out ahead of it. When it turned out it was a nothingburger her strategy to get ahead of it seems a bit much. Now other reporters are wondering if there is something really there to uncover and they start digging too.

Ok that’s a convincing argument.

Kinda what the above user said, but i’ll be honest - i had on idea about the LA Times piece

I was referring to the WaPo piece. The fact that Mulkey already had attorneys on standby kinda proved that she was a bit worried about something

The Louisiana governor wants to make it mandatory for teams to stand for the anthem.

King George time-frame

More fake outrage.

I doubt he can legally do what he is proposing

No but it is the red meat to throw to his base.

I was the opposite, I knew about the LA Times and not the WaPo.

I’m not sure what George Strait has to do with this.

Is it time to switch discs for new outrages? I wasn’t done being outraged about the last pretend problem.

I believe across the board in college football teams don’t come out until after the anthem is played it used to be like that in the NFL too, but when the Armed Forces started pumping advertising money into the NFL’s pockets thats when they started having the teams come out before the anthem.

UH hoops used to come out before the anthem but from other posters it seems that has changed in recent years.
