I’m glad Applewhite is no longer our head coach.

With that said, I do respect Applewhite and wish him the best. The fact that he has almost $2 million headed his way makes it sting a little less I’m sure.

According to our sources at Heartland College Sports, the interest is real, and mutual, and is “picking up steam”. We have also heard that Holgorsen is very close with Houston megabooster Tillman Fertita, who is also the owner of the Houston Rockets.

Also, WVUWire.com reports, “Holgorsen is prime for the picking right now with his buyout at WVU scheduled to reduce to $1 million at the beginning of the year. WVUWire as also learned that WVU is potentially not prepared to counter any offer made by the University of Houston.”

Totally disagree that this is CKB fault! I talked to another UH coach (not a fb coach) yesterday & he said that CMA was a good man, unlike Herman! He said he did not think CMA was HC material.

People need to understand that just because you’re a good man and a good coordinator that doesn’t mean you’re going to be a good HC. Sometimes it’s just too much to handle. I backed CMA and still support him but our guys deserve better. Maybe he can be a HC in another conference but you have to put in a lot of work to win in the AAC and that didnt happen. Good luck to CMA!

I actually met applewhite personally when my cousin went to the UH kicking camp over the summer, and i can sincerely say applewhite is a great guy. I have nothing against applewhite the man, applewhite the coach, I despise. Unfortunately being a good man doesn’t always translate to being a good coach.

I wish applewhite luck in all his future endeavors and im glad he at least made an attempt to make us better, even if it failed miserably.
