Mar 22nd : Southern (W) / Mar 21st : @ McNeese (W)

Realistic to be .500 + by ECU series ?

McNeese starter really good or awful so far.

I saw Southern get run rules by UIW……Southern can be beaten by most D-3 schools….they are D-1 by name only….they had a lefty throwing mid-70’s during that game.

Just super bad.

Be happy its a bunch of Tomato Cans OOC now.
Stay respectable and go from there.
AAC looks bad.

You see AM/Auburn QB Zach Calzada is there now?

Doing what? Baseball , football?

I know Mendoza was here and didn’t get a chance so he is playing well there and batting 4th….

I know Joe Jimenez would have gone to UH( he’s the one in the game at the Hooks field blasted one off UH about about 440 ft.
He’ll be a senior drafted player……throws 92 across the diamond from SS.
No interest from UH.

I think both. The FCS JR Plumlee was the comment.

This is where we embark on our quest to win the Southland.

I don’t know what thread I was in but having seen them in person , Southern is D-1 in name only……most decent D-3’s would beat them….they are horrible.

so you’re saying there’s a chance

Lol.

These guys should be run ruled.

No exaggeration, the top 5A and 6A programs in the state would beat them.

That HR pitch looked like a wiffle ball to the Southern hitter.
Some nice change ups and various (5Ks already) from him but no speed.

UH Catcher is 7 for 42 on stolen base attempts. The ball is still way to high everytime.

SP for Southern had 5 IP with a 6. Whatever ERA.
