No reason for Massoud to play as a Freshman.
He never has had a regular practice schedule at U.H. He is not muscular enough. Only played one year of Texas high school football. NYC is just not on the same level.
The real Freshman to watch is our 2021 Freshman QB.

Of course for some folks the next guy is always the one to watch. Why else would we bother to recruit him, right?
Well, well. I saw Massoud play in a very competitive Texas 6A district. He was a cut above most kids on the field. The kid is a gamer and much stronger than his size would indicate. He was respected by his teammates, as he was elected captain I believe. CDH needs to give him playing time in the 4 game window, a showcase of sorts, you only get to truly show what you have by playing on Saturday . I would think differently if Tune was dominating. I needed to edit as I wasn’t quite through. I do want to say that Tune is playing his heart out, and he had a great game against USF, and he has shown some flashes all year. Keep working Coogs!
