Maybe I missed it, but I haven’t seen 3rd ward say there was a deal imminent or anything figurative like we’re on the 1 yard line. So where/when has 3rd ward been been “telling us otherwise” regarding reaching a deal with Iran?

I mean he seems more right than others.
Oil is up 7% today after being down more recently. That gives some indication on how the market is feeling about a deal.
I would clarify that I have only inserted that a deal is being made if it’s being reported by a news outlet or by DT himself on social media, but most of the time it’s in a sarcastic manner because we all know (based on repeated instances) that a deal is never made

I would have to believe that many of DT’s donors (such as O&G) may be riding happily ever after with their profits from high oil prices, but in terms of long-term planning/projects they are going to eventually get angry.
Oil has always been up and down of course, but this war is bringing about levels of instability that’s unchartered territory
Worst of all - if Iran keeps the Strait of Hormuz, they will have the ability to control oil prices almost at-will. That means that if an oil project was priced at $80/barrel, then Iran could easily flood the market by opening the strait thus killing profit margins post-project
Most in oil and gas aren’t happy with where things are at. The long term implications can easily overwhelm any short term benefits.
Uncertainty is rarely a good thing unless your business is solely about trading on it. That’s especially true for the geopolitical kinds.

Well, that might be what he’s referring to. I was thinking you never really made statements that a deal was being made, though sharing articles about deals could be construed that way. If that is what he was referring to, then I guess I was wrong.
