I was hoping weâd end this last game in 7 innings, but we won the game and series, so canât complain.

The shenanigans that Pez and Whitting pulled with the last two schedules eventually will create a problem for both. A problem for Whitting because we probably wonât win the tourney. A problem for Pez because heâll have to consider firing a coach that conceivably wins the regular season record. A better schedule would have decided this by itself.
(I say probably wonât win the tourney because the winner usually needs some luck - and the odds are usually against any one team when compared to the field. Iâm not saying they wonât win the tourney. Iâll be rooting hard.)

I like their chances.
ECU despite ranking has very off days. Bullpen issues.
UH pitching stinks roughly every 3d game.
UH just needs two at the end.
