Mercy Miller

I thought message boards were for arguments, one up mans ship and ego stroking . . . . .

Wish we had a better than serviceable backup point guard vs Duke . . . . .

I just wish Jamal hadn’t gotten hurt. I don’t care how good of a roster you have, no college team is built to withstand losing their best player in the middle of the tournament.

I was talking about Shead going from Freshman to Sophomore

Its the exact same

This board is tying itself in knots over a player averaging less than 10 minutes per game and 3.3 pts per game. Miller’s performance in games has not justified playing him any more than he has. Trust Sampson’s process. He sees Miller practice everyday,

Your interpretation of people joking around is “tying yourselves in knots?”

Not entirely :sunglasses:

You know what’s funny, Jamal also averaged 3.3 ppg at 9.9 minutes a game. People should just stay patient.

But that does not fit all of these “Mercy Miller experts” opinions.

Exactly!

Just getting minutes for most freshman in this program is tough to do.

UH finally starting to recruit High School “5 star” basketball athletes. Getting good players is no longer a problem. Anyway, Sampson has said over and over, he’s looking for a certain type of player, and if he wants to go, let him go.

That’s crazy talk. Really what I want to see from Mercy hopefully over these last 3 games and conference tourney is for him to get in and see one ball go in the basket even if it’s a FT.

That layup that just died on the rim a couple games ago, hurt me for him. I would’ve quit my rec league game of I had made the nice move and the ball died on me like that.

What’s crazy talk? That people should stay patient? Or did you not mean to reply to me?

I’ll say that you could tell $head was improving throughout his frosh season whereas Mercy seems like he just doesn’t want to make a mistake in his last few appearances
needs to bring that dog in him back out again.

Sorry my sarcasm button about having patience did not click that time.

im not sure i agree with that about shead

shead last real game with minutes was soooo bad
(Vs Cleveland state in the tournament)

0 pts (0-2) , 1ast, 3 TOs and 1 pf (6 lost possessions to 1 made fg)
that game was what made me jump off the shead bandwagon after his freshmen year
the our lady game made me drink the sauce a bit almost a quadruple double
and that game reminded me our lady was a a d3 team

He’s probably in his own head a bit but Jamal had plenty of games his freshman year where he’d come in, make a mistake and immediately get taken out. He ended up being fine because he bought into what the coaches were telling him and put in the work. If Miller does the same he’ll be fine.
