Which was, and still is, complete BS!
The only game I’ll ever watch with PSU in it is against UH… PERIOD.

It is pretty bad but won’t matter if they only lose 1 game…
Miami and BYU look to be their only tough games.
Wisky & UNC COULD be tough and Smoo but we’ll have to wait & see…
True, we were rolling and well on our way to dominating SWC in early 90’s when we beat Texas, and then probation. Coincidence?
Probably not.
Or at least, I embrace the conspiracy theory!!!

I remember when CoogBoog’s fortune teller told him that the Coogs would eventually be B1G bound ![]()
One thing to consider with ND is their Independence could be on shaky ground if dissolution of the ACC occurred. For them to continue as independent, they would need to latch onto another conference as playing partner. The B1G won’t ever agree to it. The SEC won’t either.
I bet he B12 would.
That was pretty much the same penalties Mike while uta did the exact same thing and got a slap on the wrist.
The ncaa is in bed with some blue bloods.
law is amazed that pedophile state got away with it…

Guaranteed!
Real ones know we were destined for the ACC with Nebraska.
Yes, wins 4 of 5 years :
Embarrassed the big money machine

Probation
We were actually on probation in '89 and '90 as well; still beat UT in '89.
Was at the 60-40 game in 87 and the 47-9 win in 89.
And should’ve beaten them with a lazy drunk at the helm 3 years ago but they got help from the refs/conference.
No, it definitely wasn’t the same as the death penalty. We still played our games and kept the team in tact. Ask SMU if being on probation is the same as the death penalty.
The point Mike is that uta got hardly anything while we again got it extremely hard.
Anybody supporting uta will always omit that indeed uta was in bed with the ncaa.
You know it better than most on Coogfans. These multiple probations made us start from scratch/rock bottom. Heck while we finished 10-1 while on probation and with a reduced roster. These heinous probations finally took its toll in 1991 and the bottom fell off. The ultimate insult was when we were excluded from the BIG12 when it was created. College football is controlled by a few teams that 100% control the ncaa.
Don’t forget, the chairman of the NCAA committee on infractions was a UT law professor.
I thought it was ACCfrom CoogBoog
It was.
As I recall DeLoss Dodds was highly involved in many NCAA functions. UH would beat the cows and suddenly get a lot of NCAA scrutiny. It happened. Sure as Hell didn’t look like a coincidence to me.
