Jamey Chadwell appears to be an outstanding young coach with an amazing record and multiple awards. Mississippi State is really smart going after him.

Relative to his conference competition, he’s got the better job at Liberty for recruiting and resources. Miss State is just always punching up, even when they had Leach running the show.
Yeah, I know, the paycheck and prestige. Too, just about every HC thinks he’s the genius who can make magic where everyone else has failed.

Liberty hasn’t exactly made itself a reputable employer lately, especially if one was unimpressed by Baylor football under ol’ Art.

Yes. There is a reason coaches fail there. It’s like a location with a different restaurant every year. Sometimes you just can’t explain it. There’s like a reverse mojo about it. If you think about it Leach took on a lot of those jobs.

Getting the Miss State job is a demotion. Hard enough to recruit to MS, but even harder to Miss State.
Obviously it is good money, but seems to me Liberty never has a problem paying coaches. It literally prints money from all the tubes who donate to the Fallwell’s.
